SEN Top End 1611am will be front and centre today for one of the biggest footy moments the Northern Territory has ever seen, with the dedicated sports station calling all the action from Gary Ablett Jr’s anticipated Northern Territory Football League debut.

One of the game’s greats, Ablett will lace up the boots one more time for the Palmerston Magpies against St Mary’s.

SEN Top End 1611am will be there to call all the action, available live on air from 6.30pm ACST (8pm AEDT) and also available nationwide, streamed via the SEN app.

Dominic McCormack, Natasha Medbury and Shannon Rioli will lead commentary across the SEN Top End 1611am airwaves, with former AFL players Travis Varcoe, Matthew Stokes, Neville Jetta and Ashton Hams to also feature in the match.

Sports Entertainment Network Chief Executive Craig Hutchison says “It is not often a player of Gary’s stature takes to the field after retiring and we are thrilled to share the return of the Little Master with footy fans both locally and around the country through SEN Top End 1611am or the SEN app.”

“The anticipation around this match will be the talk of the town, and we are excited that SEN Top End 1611am will be part of what will undoubtedly be a historic moment for footy in the Northern Territory.”
