For the second consecutive month, Mamamia Out Loud has maintained its lead as Australia’s #1 podcast, in the latest Australian Podcast Ranker.

Exploding onto the scene was NOVA Entertainment’s MAFS Funny podcast, rocketing 75 places up the chart to be at #4.

LiSTNR’s It’s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield also cracked the Top Ten, up 22 spots to #9.

The Hamish & Andy and Hamish & Andy Plus podcasts now both sitting just inside the Top 20.

Stephen Haddad, Southern Cross Media Group’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “Today’s February Triton Podcast Ranker results highlight LiSTNR’s continued leadership as Australia’s premier commercial podcast network, driven by trusted talent and deep audience engagement.

“With more titles in the Top 20 than any other publisher, LiSTNR’s standout performers include Life Uncut (up 2 positions) with 383,344 monthly listeners, The Imperfects (up 10) with 309,234, and Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki (up 12 positions) with 268,185. This momentum reflects LiSTNR’s broad audience appeal, with strong month-on-month growth for other multiple titles including Big Small Talk, The Rush Hour with JB & Billy, The Commsec Market Update, KICPod and The Levels Podcast with strong debuts from KICBump and Channel Seven’s Kiss and Kill.”

“As a publisher, LiSTNR continued to deliver strong year-on-year growth across its owned and operated titles, while leading podcast revenue across the broader national podcast market within the CRA member group.”

“With Hamish & Andy returning to the March ranker with new episodes following their ‘Government mandated break’, The Inspired Unemployed podcast set to debut in April, and continued growth across radio podcasts and originals, LiSTNR is well placed to continue its momentum in driving audiences and revenue in 2026.”

Elsewhere, SEN Breakfast shows ‘Fireball with Kane Cornes & David King’ on Mondays and Fridays, and ‘Breakfast with Garry Lyon & Tim Watson’ on Tuesdays to Thursdays topped the rankings among Australia’s Breakfast radio podcast offerings, leading in both listeners and downloads in the All-Australian Top 300.

SEN Chief Executive Craig Hutchison said he was thrilled with the February results and believes the numbers will only grow from there.

“SEN is Australia’s home of sport and to be ranked Number 1 in Breakfast podcasts for February is testament to the quality of entertainment, news, interviews and analysis we give our audiences.”

Garry Lyon, Tim Watson, Kane Cornes and David King are among some of the most respected footy experts in Australia and they attract the biggest guests. As the season unfolds, we will be there every step of the way to give our audiences unparalleled coverage, in depth analysis, light-heartened entertainment and hard news.”

This month Commercial Radio & Audio (CRA) and Triton Digital are introducing two enhancements to the Demos+ dataset. The first is the launch of the Demos+ Top Indexing Programs by Audience Composition – a new planning tool that shows media buyers which podcasts perform best for the audiences that matter most to their campaigns, from high-income households and active property buyers to frequent travellers and fitness enthusiasts.

Lizzie Young, CEO of CRA, said: “Podcasting has matured rapidly in Australia. The expansion of Demos+ data moves advertisers beyond age and gender-based audio strategies – into a greater view of the behaviours, intentions and spending patterns that drive campaign outcomes. Unlocking the right podcast environment to reach their desired audience.”
