Reporter

The four biggest myths about digital audio will be revealed when ARN’s National Podcast & Digital Sales Director Denis Donati takes the stage at SXSW Sydney today.

As part of the ARN-SXSW Sydney partnership, today will also see Kate Langbroek and Nath Valvo record a live episode of their new comedy podcast, The Buck Up.

Yesterday, Jonesy & Amanda recorded a special episode of their Cutting Room Floor podcast live at ARN House.

As part of the Education Series hosted at ARN House, Head of News & Information Fiona Ellis-Jones and Senior Journalist Brooklyn Ross presented a session on the significance of news and the importance of mentoring young and upcoming journalists within the industry.

A number of ARN clients, SXSW badge holders and members of the general public had a turn at creating their own 15-minute podcast.

Mundanara Bayles recorded a special live episode of her Black Magic Woman podcast on the SXSW Sydney Podcast Stage, featuring Indigenous radio presenter and rapper Nooky.

During the episode, Nooky discussed his background and how he found his way from being kicked out of school to becoming a recognised leader in the Indigenous music scene and nominated for four ARIA awards.
