First 2024 Radio survey results

[ARN] has lost touch which has been said a number of times over the past few years. The outcomes have been uniformly disappointing.

Not the best results for ARN.

Jack Ball is a genius. That man has had b105 heavily dominating #1 in his tenure and it needs to be recognised. Same goes for Matt O’Reilly with Triple M Adelaide.

With those KIIS figures in Brisbane you’d have to think ARN are considering KJ.

So a $24 million a year show cannot drive a stations success to No.1?? And a $500k show on Smooth powers a No.1 station. Wow.

Surely this is a catastrophic investment, when the rest of ARN staff remain in struggletown?

K&J’s ‘Give Back’ segment should be them giving money back to their company.

Mix1023 is the overall #1 station in Adelaide.

Intrested to look inside some of the data.
Nova Brisbane gains in 40-54 and almost 10 points behind B105 in 25-39 shows that Nova is just too old. Listening to that show as a 30 year old, there’s nothing for me.
It’s old and dated and needs a shake up. The listening profile is more like a MMM than a Nova.
The data tells a story and my ears tell me that the show is old and crusty.
