Fifi, Fev & Nick host afternoon O.B at Crown ahead of the Melbourne Cup

The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick got the Melbourne Cup celebrations off to a flyer yesterday afternoon, with a special live broadcast from Crown Melbourne, in partnership with the Victorian Racing Club (VRC).

The Fox trio brought the party indoors – out of the rain, and outside their normal breakfast hours – hosting pre-Cup festivities for more than 500 guests at the Crown Atrium rooftop between 5 and 7pm.

The event featured live performances from multi-platinum ARIA Award-winning duo PNAU and Cyril, plus appearances from Gai Waterhouse, VRC Chief Executive Officer Kylie Rogers and Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes.

There were giveaways, live interviews and the final public appearance of The People’s Cup – the three-handled Lexus Melbourne Cup trophy – as the city geared up for the race that stops a nation.
