FBi Radio reports all-time high monthly listenership figures

Sydney community station FBi Radio has hit an all-time high monthly listenership of 580,000.

The figure was revealed in the latest McNair Community Radio Survey, with the number of listeners rising from 504,000 last survey.

That equates to 14% of Sydneysiders tuning into the station on a monthly basis, with all surveyed timeslots gaining listeners weekly.

FBi reports that TSL throughout the week is 11.3 hours on average and listenership is spread throughout Greater Sydney, with 26% of listeners from Western/South Western Sydney and
34% from the City/East Syd/ Inner West.

“Everyone here has great passion for the shows they make and the audience who loves our programming,” said program director Dan Ahern.

“That a record number of listeners are tuning in throughout Greater Sydney is a tribute to every one of our team members and their commitment to great Sydney-focused music, arts and culture content.”

Across the the board, community radio listenership stayed stable, after recording a record high listenership of 5.9 million nationally in the last survey period.
