Famous faces reduce mix94.5’s Matt Priddis to tears

Staff Writer

Newly-retired Matt Priddis was given an emotional start to his Thursday morning after being presented with a montage video celebrating his phenomenal career by mix94.5’s Clairsy, Matt & Kymba.

With special messages from a long list of his well-known Aussie fans including Danny Green, Dennis Cometti, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten, Premier Mark McGowan, Paul Kelly and Kochie, the video contained warm fuzzies from start to finish.

Despite the Brownlow medalist appearing obviously moved as he listened to the different heartfelt messages, Clairsy, Matt & Kymba saved the most special for last, a loving message from his pregnant wife and two daughters.

In a beautiful moment that saw the former West Coast Eagle start to tear up, his two young daughters shouted out words of love, with his youngest even mumbling that she was proud of him.
