Fall asleep to your favourite crime stories: New Jack Laurence podcast

Reporter

Jack Laurence – host and creator of One Minute Remaining and Wanted – has launched a new crime podcast.

Crime at Bedtime aims to mix mindfulness and breathing exercises with one of the most popular podcast genres, with Laurence returning as the host.

Each week, he’ll tell a crime story from around the world.

It’s the third crime podcast for the former Australian radio host who, in September 2022, took a giant leap of faith.

Laurence quit his radio career of 15 years to launch his first ever True Crime show called One Minute Remaining – Stories from the Inmates, which peaked at #1 on both Spotify and Apple podcasts charts has so far had over 4.5 million downloads.

Laurence says “Since launching One Minute Remaining and Wanted, I’ve had countless people tell me that they fall asleep to my shows every night.”

“Instead of taking incredible offence to this, I decided to create a show designed for the 48% of podcast lovers who use their favourite shows to go to sleep.”

The show will be released weekly across all platforms and Laurence says he hopes the fans of his current shows will enjoy it as much as they have his others.

“You’re always a bit nervous releasing anything new but I think even more so for me with this project as it is very different to what I’ve done in the past.”

“I’ve really loved putting the episodes together so far so I hope everyone enjoys it.”
