Fairfax Radio release new apps

Staff Writer

The Fairfax Radio Network has released the latest version of their iPhone apps, which now feature live in-studio video streaming.

Listeners can watch the announcer live from multiple camera angles, and now have the ability to pause the broadcast as they listen, and obtain on-demand local news.

Fairfax Radio Technology Director, Joe Sexton said, “We built the latest version of our apps to bring an integrated, interactive and comprehensive listening and viewing experience to our listeners.

They are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s imperative that they have the best radio experience at their finger tips, and that’s what our latest apps deliver.”

Fairfax Radio National Sales Director Nick Randall commented;

“Our app downloads already exceed 330,000 and we see that with enhanced usability, including live studio video streaming and studio interaction, more listeners than ever will be downloading the apps and using them to engage with their favourite station.

This represents the ideal audience for advertisers – they’re present, participating and passionate.”
