Fairfax correspondent makes headlines

When Cate Blanchett won the Oscar yesterday for her role in Blue Jasmine, she went backstage to answer questions from the waiting media.

When Fairfax Radio Network US correspondent Richard Arnold (right), who has worked for 2UE for more than 20 years, asked his question he got a response that has made headlines.

Arnold asked: "I want to ask you about the fact that you are the first Australian actor/actress ever to win two Oscar's". Blanchett then cut in saying, "And don't you fucking forget it!"
