Erin Govers: “This is exactly the kind of radio I want to be part of”
Less than a month into her newest radio adventure, Erin ‘Ez’ Govers has opened up about moving from Far North Queensland to the New South Wales south coast to co-host Breakfast on ARN’s Power FM Bega Bay.
Erin recently joined Brad Blissett on-air, following Leisha Brodyk’s move to Newcastle’s NEW FM.
Having graduated from the University Of Southern Queensland in 2025 with a Bachelor of Television and Radio Production and Broadcasting, Erin was mentored by industry professionals Spencer Howson, Ashley Jones and Zaine Harvey.

She spent a whirlwind 16 months developing her on-air skills, hosting Kool FM‘s Breakfast show in Innisfail, as well as presenting The Drive Home on 4KZ.
Passionate about keeping radio local, Erin’s focus is on bringing real voices, real stories, and a sense of community back to the airwaves.
Erin says working in radio has been a game changer for her:
“Radio has truly opened me up to a world of like-minded people and opportunities to create, learn and grow, both personally and professionally.”

“I loved my time at Kool FM and I’m so grateful for those 16 months up north, but this felt like the right next step to continue growing , and it brings me a lot closer to family as well.”
Erin says she’s loving the passion of her Power FM colleagues, who’ve welcomed her with open arms.
“They’re incredible. Everyone really cares about the listeners and the region, and that’s exactly the kind of radio I want to be part of.”
