Entries open for the National Features and Documentary Series

Former Assistant Editor

The CBAA has officially declared open entries for the National Features and Documentary Series (NFDS) for 2018.

Up-and-coming broadcasters are encouraged to submit their ideas for a feature, and if selected they’ll receive industry-standard radio training through the Community Media Training Organisation.

The NFDS is open to anyone who volunteers at or is employed by a community radio station in Australia.

They will also be partnered with an experienced mentor to help them bring the piece to life and make the quality of their piece as high as possible, plus their work will be shared with the Community Radio Network.

Selected entrants will also be rewarded with payment for their work, and go in the running for win a CBAA Community Radio Award.

Interested parties can also get involved in an upcoming webinar called Your guide to contributing to the NFDS, which will be held on Wednesday March 14.

Applications are now open, here.
