Ed for Breakfast coming soon on Triple M Karratha

Reporter

Ed Thomas will take the reins next month as the new  Breakfast announcer at 102.5 Triple M Karratha.

Thomas – who’d been working as a newsreader and announcer for the ACE Radio Network in Colac, Victoria – replaces Pablo Miller, whose last day will be April 26.

Of his departure, Miller said on social media “This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration, I believe it is the right step for my personal and professional growth.

Reflecting on my time at Triple M, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities and support I have received throughout the years.

When I first started, I never imagined I would stay for 12 years. It has been an incredible journey, and I am proud to have been a part of the team for so long.”

Ed for Breakfast will be heard 6-9am weekdays  on 102.5 Triple M and on LiSTNR.

I wouldn’t consider Ed for Breakfast to be dominating the Gippsland market, you can hardly hear the station east of Warragul and even the ABC has a higher listenership despite, ironically, only having the one local program.

Best of luck to Ed for Breakfast (Karratha), the miners will love you and SCM has full faith in you.
