Finalists for the 41st AWARD Awards have been announced, and Aussie agency Eardrum is nominated for three separate campaigns.

All three campaigns are nominated in the Radio & Audio category, including Eardrum’s Radio Alive – Tactical Radio campaign for Commercial Radio Australia. It’s nominated for Innovative Use of Radio & Audio.

In addition, Eardrum area also nominated for Other Side of the Tracks – Yungblud, for Universal Music Australia (Branded Audio and Podcasts), as well as Don’t Judge Me – The Long Tease for the London International Awards (Branded Audio and Podcasts).

“The latest Radio Alive campaign has gone down extremely well with all our stakeholders and it’s fitting that an initiative on behalf of the industry is recognised in the innovation category,” said Commercial Radio Australia chief executive Joan Warner.

“We’re showing faith in our medium and demonstrating the effectiveness of cut through creative.”

“The CRA campaign is generating record web traffic for the client,” said Eardrum founding creative director Ralph van Dijk.

“So it’s doubly satisfying to also get recognition from such a prestigious award show.”

Eardrum has produced seven podcast series in the past year.

“The growth in audio consumption means Eardrum’s unique skillset is in demand,” Van Dijk continued.

“There are so many ways brands can reach their audience through their ears. In any given week we’re creating everything from 3 second sonic logos, 45-minute branded podcasts and everything in-between.”

The full list of finalists is available here, with the winners to be announced on Friday, March 27.
