Dumped voiceover guy tells his side of the story

Staff Writer

Ben Oxenbould is a voice actor who does ads for many clients across Australia. He is also WSFM's voiceover guy.

He has made news this week being labelled a crash test dummy and a terrible driver. He has since been dumped as the voice of road safety messages in NSW.

A spokesman for the NSW transport management centre, Tony Braxton-Smith, said:

"It's safe to say Mr Oxenbould will not be used again for voiceovers or in any other capacity for ads for road safety."

"At the moment we do not have police checks in place (for voice overs), but clearly we will be reviewing that."

While Ben was in for a session at ARN Sydney yesterday he chatted to some of the programming staff, including WSFM's Jonesy, and gave his side of the story.

So this morning he appeared on Jonesy & Amanda. Hear the interview :-
