Duffy leaves Radio National

Radio National has announced the resignation of Michael Duffy, the co-host of the Counterpoint program. Duffy has presented the program since 2004, and co-presented since 2007 with Paul Comrie Thompson.

Station Manager Amanda Armstrong said; 

“Counterpoint has become an important vehicle to provide commentary on social, economic and cultural issues in Australian life. We’ll miss Michael Duffy’s thoughtful and engaging contribution which has proven popular with many listeners"

Duffy will be pursuing an advisory role with the NSW government; 

“I’ve enjoyed my time with Radio National…… I’m sure the program will continue to deliver the unexpected and the unusual and I look forward to hearing its future incarnations.”

Michael Duffy’s last episode of Counterpoint will air on Monday 25 June at 4pm.
