DMG board member joins TEN

Staff Writer

Siobhan McKenna, Illyria's representative on the DMG Radio Board, has been appointed to the TEN Network board replacing James Packer.

McKenna is Managing Partner of Illyria, Lachlan Murdoch's private investment company, which owns 50% of DMG Radio Australia and around 9% of the TEN Network.

In the announcement, Lachlan Murdoch said; “The board of Ten welcomes Siobhan, having regard to her extensive media experience, and knows she will make a significant contribution as a director of Ten in the future”.

The DMG Network and Network TEN are already offered as properties for advertisers to book cross-campaigns.

There have been rumours for months in the markets that the exit strategy for Illyria and their DMG investment will be to have TEN acquire the 50% stake that Murdoch owns.
