Melbourne’s SEN 1116 is gearing up for its SEN XI series by revealing the first cricket greats that will assist stalwart broadcasters Gerard Whateley and Anthony Hudson during the summer season.

Damien ‘The Bowlologist’ Fleming and Simon Katich will join the commentary team from December 6, when Australia face off against India in the First Test at the Adelaide Oval.

SEN will add more notable names to it’s XI team in the following days.

“Over the course of this week, we’re excited to name our ‘SEN XI’ – the talented commentary team that will lead our Summer of cricket coverage across both Test and Big Bash,” chief commercial officer and general manager Sam Bingley said.

“With the nation’s best broadcasters calling the ball-by-ball action and former players alongside them as elite analysts, we’re promising listeners the best coverage possible and we can’t wait for the first ball to bowled.”

SEN parent Pacific Star Network recently secured exclusive commercial radio broadcasting rights from Cricket Australia. The partnership will see Crocmedia provide the only radio coverage of all Big Bash League matches for the next six years.

Further expert additions to the SEN XI commentary team will be announced across the week.
