DAB+ Digital Ratings: Coles Radio is Australia’s #1 DAB+ station

Welcome to the second DAB+ Digital Radio survey results for 2019.

DAB+ is a growth area of radio, with networks putting more time and energy into digital radio than ever before.

So how did the digital stations perform?

On a national level, Coles Radio and Double J were dominant.

Coles has 233,000 cume listeners, while Double J had 205,000.

The Edge Digital retained top spot in Sydney despite falling to 85,000 (-14,000) listeners.

In Melbourne, Double J was the highest cuming station with an audience 71,000 (-5,000). The race to the top is tight, with Coles Radio just behind on 65,000 listeners.

Coles performed better in Brisnabe, easing to first place on 51,000 (-5,000) listeners.

Meantime, The 90s iHeartRadio was top dog in Adelaide with 38,000 and OLDSKOOL Hits won out in Perth on 39,000 in a tight market.
