Crocmedia has announced its broadcast schedule for the 2018/19 Hyundai A-League, revealing plans to call more football matches than ever across Australia.

Part of Pacific Star Network, Crocmedia has secured distribution into Australia’s five biggest capital cities and will call 100+ matches via Football Nation.

There’ll be calls tailored for each market, with fans of at least six clubs to be served commentary specifically for their city.

1116 SEN will once again broadcast home and away matches for Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory, while Western Sydney Wanderers games will run in NSW via the Super Radio Network.

Adelaide United games will be broadcast in SA on FIVEaa, while home and away games for Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory will air respectively on Macquarie’s 4BC and 6PR.

As the master rights holder for all A-League, Westfield W-League and FFA Cup matches, Crocmedia executive director Chris Giannopoulos says he is keen to work with other radio stations who may want to become broadcasters for the games.

“We congratulate the FFA on the release of the 2018/2019 Hyundai A-League with an exciting schedule outlined for both fans and broadcasters,” Giannopoulos said.

“The phenomenal success and momentum from the World Cup in Russia with Australia once again participating on the world stage is a great platform for the year ahead.

“Interest in the world game has been at an all-time high over the past month and provides great impetus to capitalise on the summer ahead for the Hyundai A-League.

“On the back of a scintillating Hyundai A-League finals series in April and May, we look forward to working with the FFA to drive greater interest and distribution of the Hyundai A-League and W-Leagues than ever before.”

All matches can also be heard at My Football Nation and a-league.com.au
