Community radio prepares to celebrate International Women’s Day
Ahead of International Women’s Day tomorrow, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) is celebrating radio programs that focus on issues affecting women.
Planned programs and activities include:

Elswhere, 2MIA FM 95.1 Griffith will feature a takeover from 1-7pm AEDT on Saturday 8 March featuring music by women.
2SER will feature female presenters, guest DJs, academics, authors, poets and music from 5am – 9pm.
3CR Community Radio will mark IWD25 with a full day of programming led by women and non-binary presenters
3MDR 97.1 FM will host and broadcast live from a gig at its station in Upwey, Victoria
PBS 106.7FM Melbourne will mark IWD25 with a full day of programming by women and gender diverse people, featuring iconic announcers, live performances and special guest presenters
Triple R – 3RRR 102.7FM will feature programming by female and non-binary broadcasters from 6am to midnight.
WOW FM 100.5 will air a range of shows celebrating women in music on Saturday 8 March.
