CRA announces Jaime Chaux as Head of Digital

Former Assistant Editor

Jamie Chaux has been unveiled as Commercial Radio Australia’s new head of digital today.

Chaux has been tapped to develop the industry’s approach and strategy across the digital space, says CEO Joan Warner.

He will also take responsibility for RadioApp, podcasting policy and strategy, social media and other areas of multi-platform innovation.

“Jaime is highly regarded in the industry having worked on initiatives in streaming, podcasting and DAB+ digital radio.

“He will help us drive commercial radio forward on all platforms and devices where our members want to be. We are very pleased to have him join our team.”

Chaux has previously worked on the development of RadioApp, and is current in a role as content director of SCA’s PodcastOne Australia.

He will take up his new role in March, and is also set to support the CAB+ digital team, led by head of strategic development Kath Brown.

“There are massive opportunities for commercial radio in a multiplatform future, and I’m enormously excited to join CRA and work across the industry to ensure that radio stays at the forefront of delivering great and innovative digital content to local audiences wherever they are and whenever they want it,” said Chaux.
