CADA brings the beats to Melbourne’s CBD

Reporter

CADA continues its mission to bring Australians closer to the music and the action, with a showstopping headline event on November 30, 2022.

The Hip Hop and R&B station is broadcasting live from Melbourne at ALWAYS LIVE, Victoria’s state-wide celebration of live music, supported by the Victorian Government.

A collective of CADA DJs, talent, special guests, creators and performers will bring the energy to Melbourne’s CBD with one-off sets, free events, plus a live radio broadcast from a pop-up audio studio at the Arts Centre forecourt (listeners can tune in from DAB+) – culminating in an after hours party headlined by Tkay Maidza at Melbourne Museum.

Emily Copeland, General Manager of CADA, says “Victoria has a thriving live music scene, and CADA is proud to be working with ALWAYS LIVE to celebrate and showcase the incredible talent Australia has to offer.”

“This event coincides with us celebrating eight months of CADA, and we are excited to create opportunities for Melbourne music lovers to experience our brand across the live broadcast, DJs and event with Tkay Maidza.”

Kat Tamayo, Head of Marketing at CADA says, “Now that CADA is available in Melbourne on DAB+, our listener and follower base in the region continues to grow. It was only right for us to have boots on ground to give fans the opportunity to experience our shows and talent in real life.”

“We’re also proud to present an all-female line up of artists performing at Nocturnal. It’s going to be quite a show.”

With a line-up of free and ticketed events, CADA showcases will include appearances and performances from Tkay Maidza, Babyface Mal, Ibby, HP Boyz, Kian & Yaz, Avneesha, Flex & Froomes, PENG (Soju Gang & Dijok), Carolina Gasolina, DJ Klasik, Mistah Cee, DJ Sarah and more.

There are multiple points to engage and take part in content throughout the week, from the free iHeartRadio App, DAB+ in every capital city including Melbourne, and FM in Western Sydney to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and cada.com.au.
