Bummer of a job: Kate Ritchie attempts world record live on air

This week on Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie, Kate made a solid attempt at a rather interesting world record.

Kate’s mission? To pop as many balloons as she could in 30 seconds, using only her bum.

The record to beat was 50 balloons.

After chatting about technique and getting some good luck messages from listeners, chaos ensued as Kate went for the record live on air.

It was a valiant attempt – with Kate managing to pass the halfway mark, popping 26 balloons.
