Millennial who’s ‘never listened to a podcast’, creates one

Perhaps in a sign we’re approaching ‘peak podcast’, a man who claims never to have listened to the medium has created his very own.

Best Mates With Blake has been created by Blake Francis to chat to high-profile people including red-carpet regulars, musicians, social media stars and some of the country’s biggest radio and TV personalities.

Blake said while he may not be a podcast aficionado, he is by no means short on experience in media, having worked in radio and the wider media sector for the past 10 years.

Francis has been an assistant producer and panel operator at SCA, as well as a promotional representative. Most recently, he’s been with ARN was an activation specialist.

But if 2021 has taught him anything, he said, it’s that “life is too short to sit on your dreams”.
