Ben Erbsland appointed GSL Media Head of Content

Following this morning’s announcement of Rod Brice’s retirement, GSL Media CEO Simon Rub has announced the appointment of Ben Erbsland to Head of Content – 91.9 SEA FM and 92.7 MIX FM.

Ben has been in the position of Content Director at 91.9 SEA FM for the past six months and will start his new role on Monday, 16 October.

GSL Media CEO Simon Rub said Ben has the talent and enthusiasm for the job. 

“Ever since Ben joined us in February of this year, he has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance,” he said.

“His passion, initiative, and talent for fostering a highly focused team environment have been truly exceptional. We are excited about the future with Ben in the chair.”

New Head of Content, Ben Erbsland, paid his respects to the outgoing Group Content Director, Rod Brice, saying working with him has been “an honour.”

“Rod Brice is one the best programmers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. 

“His passion and knowledge for this industry is incredible and on top of that, he’s a true gentleman. 

“To guide 91.9 SEA FM alongside Rod this year has been an honour. I wish Rod all the best as he enjoys his retirement and I look forward to this new role with GSL Media.”

Ben Erbsland will commence his role as Head of Content – 91.9 SEA FM and 92.7 MIX FM on Monday, 16 October, 2023.
