They’re mates. They’re housemates. And now, they’re radio co-hosts, with Bec Kempin and Jack Boyd teaming up for a brand-new Breakfast show on Snow FM this week.

Tomorrow (Tuesday, April 28) sees the official launch of Snow FM Breakfast with Bec & Jack.

Bec’s been waking up the New South Wales Snowy Mountains for just over a year now.

Last month, eighteen-year-old Jack made the long trek from Perth to join the Capital Radio Network station.

And of all the postcard-worthy surrounds in which to launch a new Breakfast radio show, Snow FM General Manager Mitch Hynes says it’s pretty hard to beat the snow-capped mountains surrounding Lake Jindabyne this time of year:

“We are very fortunate to have Jack join our team. Heading into winter, the Snow FM office transform into one of the most picturesque places on earth.”

Given they’re already friends and housemates, Snow FM Program Director Jordan Bocock says Bec and Jack display all the makings of a great on-air team:

“Bec has already done fantastic work during her time at Snow FM, and already in her demos with Jack, you can hear the chemistry and genuine friendship they have.”

Both BOOM Radio recruits, Bec and Jack came through Perth’s North Metropolitan TAFE Radio & Podcasting program.

They’re just the tip of the BOOM talent pipeline making their mark on the radio industry, and the third consecutive BOOM Radio leader recruited by the Capital Radio Network, joining Snow FM Workday announcer April Hammond.

Now, a new on-air adventure begins, with Jack bringing a new dynamic to Breakfast in the Snowys.

And he says they’re raring to go:

“I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.”

The all-new Snow FM Breakfast with Bec & Jack launches 6am tomorrow (Tuesday, April 28th) across the Snowy Mountains on 97.7 Snow FM
