Barry Keohane appointed content director at Mix 102.3 & Cruise 1323

ARN has appointed a new content director in Adelaide.

Barry Keohane will oversee Mix 102.3 and Cruise 1323, replacing Tony Aldridge who has moved to KIIS 101.1 in Melbourne.

His move recently role was as content director at ABC Adelaide.

Barry’s previous roles include assistant CD and assistant MD roles at Southern Cross Austereo, as well as general manager for content in China overseeing the launch of 10 stations in markets of over 10 million people.

“Barry brings with him a wealth of knowledge and skills to this role which will enhance and complement the experience that already exists within the content team in Adelaide,” said ARN national content director Duncan Campbell.

“I welcome Barry to ARN and I look forward to working with him as we continue to build on the success in Adelaide across Mix 102.3 and Cruise 1323.”

Barry also mentors and teaches up and coming talent as the head lecturer for the Radio Content Management and Leadership Course with the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.

He starts at ARN in Adelaide on Wednesday, July 10.

Good to see a station in Adelaide with a local C.D. Nova spend over 1,000 dollars a week flying some cardboard cutout to town 😀
