Barbie fever takes hold at Brisbane’s Nova 106.9

Barbie fever has hit Brisbane’s Nova 106.9 this week.

Armed with the official 2000 Olympics ‘swimming champion Barbie’ – and dressed up to match – Olympian and Breakfast announcer Susie O’Neill took some lucky listeners along to a special Gold Class preview screening of Barbie at Events Cinemas in Indooroopilly.

It was part of Nova’s ‘Susie’s Women’s Association,’ an invitation-only club that has formed over the past three years on-air on Nova 106.9, bringing a very small group of like-minded women together for an unforgettable experience.

And all with Susie’s mantra – “to be home in bed by 9pm!”

Over the past year alone, over 1400 women have registered to score an invite to these coveted events – with a small group of women being personally inducted by Susie and given the opportunity to spend some quality time with her.
