Baggs Leaves KIIS 101.1

Simon Baggs has left the KIIS Network after a three and a half year run, deciding to pull the pin.

Appears he is already packing his bags for a jaunt overseas for a break, before planning his next move in radio.

Baggs was part of the original KIIS106.5 Syndey line-up that went to number 1, all while pulling a six hour shift On-Air. Towards the end of 2015 he was tapped on the shoulder to anchor and launch KIIS 101.1’s new breakfast with then Matt Tilley and Jane Hall. By 2016 ,while still anchoring breakfast the show, it saw a line-up change with Meshel Laurie joining the team.

KIIS 101.1 hasn’t gained the traction ARN has expected in the Melbourne market just yet. No word yet if they intend to announce a new anchor for the show.
