Jacklyn Bassanelli – series writer of LiSTNR’s new original audio drama podcast Gripped: You Don’t Know Me – has been nominated for an AWGIE by the Australian Writers Guild in the Audio Fiction category.

The 56th annual AWGIE Awards will be presented in Sydney on February 15 and recognise the outstanding achievements of Australian performance writers and their contribution to Australia’s cultural landscape.

Gripped: You Don’t Know Me is a six-part original audio drama podcast series about the mysterious disappearance of a character, Lizzie Burdett.

Adapted from a novel by award-winning Australian crime writer Sara Foster, it’s a dark and brooding fictional podcast series set in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, with unseen twists as each episode focuses on a different potential suspect that allows the listener to immerse themselves in the mystery and play ‘armchair detective’ as they try and solve the central mystery in the series.
