Australia had plenty to celebrate at the prestigious New York Festivals Radio Awards.

We picked up 20 gongs, winning four gold, four silver and four bronze, as well as eight finalist certificates.

ABC and SBS again dominated the leader board with SCA’s LiSTNER and CBAA the only other major broadcasters to receive awards.

Media Heads, Broadwave and Lockdown Productions were among the independent producers to make the winners’ list.

New Zealand took home 14 awards – three gold, one silver and two bronze plus eight finalist certificates.
