ATN launch traffic website

Staff Writer

For many years ATN have supplied traffic reports for Australian radio stations.

The network have now developed a website to help drivers cope with capital city traffic.

GetTraffic.com.au utilises the data sourced by the ATN reporters. Managing Director Bill Pezzimenti said:

“We know that there is overwhelming evidence that traffic volumes and congestion levels in Australian national cities are getting worse. It’s taking us longer to get to and home from work every day. No one wants to spend more time in their cars than they have to."

“No one can stop motorists from driving their cars, but we can help them get from A to B quicker."

“Get Traffic is a unique website in that it provides premium traffic information to motorists and passengers on the spot."

ATN reporters are based in Traffic Management Centres across the country and they also have helicopters and light planes in some cities to source the information.

“You can literally type in your route to work and check to see whether you’ll have a smooth run in,” said Pezzimenti.

“We’ve only just launched and already the hit rate has been outstanding. We’ve been offering traffic and news spots for years – but this is something new entirely."

“Everyone is talking about integration in advertising. This is the ultimate integration. You can hear a live read off the back of a traffic report on radio or TV, and then see your ad on our new website."

GetTraffic.com.au is also available on mobile devices.
