ARN, SCA among top 3 publishers in Australian Podcast Ranker

ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, SCA’s LiSTNR and Audioboom are again the top three publishers in the latest Triton Digital Australian Podcast Ranker.

The top three podcasts for both the Top 100 Ranker and Top 100 All-Australian Ranker included Hamish & Andy (LiSTNR (SCA)), Casefile True Crime (Audioboom), and 7am (Schwartz Media).

As Australia’s federal election looms, 7am has risen two places, overtaking Kyle and Jackie O and Life Uncut.

There were several debuts for the Top 100 Ranker, including Liar, Liar: Melissa Caddick and the Missing Millions (Nine Publishing), News with (Nine Publishing) and SACKED: AFL (News Corp Australia)

There were also several debuts in the Australian-Made Top 100 Ranker, including The Lost Ones (News Corp Australia), That’s Enough Already with Urzila Carlson (LiSTNR (SCA)) and The Front (Nine Publishing). Full results are here.

Commenting on the latest ranker results, ARN’s Head of Digital Audio, Corey Layton, said:

Overall, ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network represents 44 of Australia’s top 150 most popular podcasts.

 

SEN says its Sydney station has continued its podcast momentum, “with three of its shows in the top 12 among Sydney radio shows” in the Australian Podcast Ranker results.

“1170 SEN’s ‘The Run Home with Joel & Fletch’  has proven popular once again with contemporary audiences, receiving the fifth most podcast downloads of any Sydney radio program during April. With a total of 278,678 podcast downloads based on the April Australian Podcast Ranker results, the program continues to grow each month to climb up a star studded ranker featuring establish Sydney based national radio shows. The result puts The Run Home ahead of many other more high profile and established AM & FM programs.”
