ARN have unexpected response to social post

With the death overnight of Hollywood actress Shirley Temple, ARN posted the same simple picture across their stations Facebook pages to announce the news.

When checking out the stats today, they have told us they had an unexpectedly strong response to it across their brands.

ARN's National Content Director Duncan Campbell said: “In a world where child stars are in trouble and headlining the news, our audiences around Australia instead responded strongly to the sad news of Shirley Temple’s passing with 53,000 connections across ARN social media overnight."
