ARN and TRN 2011 financials
APN, the parent of the Australian Radio Network and the The Radio Network in New Zealand, have released their financial report for 2011 to the market today.
The consolidated group operates a range of newspapers, online publishing, outdoor and digital ventures in addition to their radio investments in Australia and New Zealand.
APN has had a challenging year with their financial performance impacted severely by the Christchurch earthquake. The overall groups earnings fell by 16%.
Australian radio operations reported a slight increase in revenue and profits of 5% on 2010, whilst the New Zealand radio operations reported no material change.
