Are you cape-able?

Staff Writer

April has been transformed with the swirling of a cape. CAPRIL – now in its seventh year is about wearing a cape in everyday situations to fight depression.

The idea for Capril came from Get This with Tony Martin and Ed Kavalee with Richard Marsland “on the buttons”.

As we know Richard Marsland passed away due to depression and many wanted to honour his memory and so Capril has continued every April.

Like the guys did on Get This, it’s about cape-ing up through the month and encouraging listeners to send in evidence of themselves in capes doing everyday activities. The aim is to talk about depression and donate funds to support Beyondblue with the national depression and anxiety initiative.

You can find out more about CAPRIL on their website, or Twitter or Facebook page.
