Another smooth all-star addition

Leo Sayer is the latest music star to secure a spot in smoothfm’s lineup with his own show from Feb 28 at 4.

“I like this idea that we can speak personally to people – that's what radio is all about. You sit on stage with big audiences, and it can be a fantastic experience. But it's always nice to go one-on-one",  said Leo.

“For my show I've picked out some of my faves – songs like Toto – they used to be my backing band plus Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen”

Leo has called Australia home for a while now and had some of the biggest hits in the 70’s and 80’s.  He’s also travelling the country with his Restless Years Tour.

NOVA Entertainment’s Group Program Director Paul Jackson said, “Leo Sayer joins a long list of some of the most iconic and high profile artists to join the station, from Rod Stewart and Olivia Newton-John to Keith Urban and Ed Sheeran, and it will be wonderful to hear another legend of the music industry on smoothfm on Saturdays.”

Leo Sayer will be heard from 4.00pm Saturday February 28 on smooth 95.3 Sydney, smooth 91.5 Melbourne and nationally on DAB+.
