Andrew Denton supports Go Gentle Australia

Staff Writer

Former Triple M Sydney radio host Andrew Denton recently created, hosted and produced the acclaimed number 1 podcast series “Better Off Dead”, which dealt with the sensitive issue of Euthanasia.

Denton, along with Go Gentle Australia, is actively working to encourage the law to be changed to support assisted dying, which is supported by over 70% of Australians.

Denton, who is the director of the Go Gentle campaign for assisted dying, recently accused some politicians of being “derelict in their duties” over the past two decades.

Speaking to Radio Today, Andrew Denton commented:

“No one should have to die a lingering, painful death. Go Gentle Australia has been established to try and see that a compassionate voluntary euthanasia law is written in this country, reflecting the wishes of more than 70% of Australians”

If you agree with Denton’s, and Go Gentle’s view, you can help support this cause by posting on Facebook or Twitter that you support their campaign to ‘Be the Bill’; a move to change the bill in Parliament.
