And the winner is…

Take 1200 odd Queensland voters and see how it's all going to play out.

Perhaps Campbell Newman doesn’t just need to worry about Alan Jones, if the latest results hold true.

SCA Research took a quick election survey with both b105 and Triple M listeners to uncover where their headspace is at – here is a quick snapshot:

  • Only 27% of Triple M listeners & 21% of b105 listeners are planning to vote for the Campbell Newman and the LNP
  • ‘Cost of Living’ is the most important issue for both b105 & Triple M listeners
  • 39% of b105 listeners and 30% of Triple M listeners yet to decide who they will be voting for – so still a chance for all sides to show their wares in the coming days.
  • Voter apathy/fatigue is strong amongst some Brisbanites – with 14% of b105 listeners & 11% of Triple M listeners surveyed planning to lodge an informal vote

Keep in mind the results are based on SCA’s own databases for b105 and Triple M, but they give a fairly good yardstick of how things are travelling in the South East of the state at least.
