Anastacia talks Trump and life’s struggles with Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren

This week on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren, the team chatted to Anastacia ahead of her performance at Derby Day this weekend.

As well as sharing her thoughts on Donald Trump and the US political scene, the singer opened up about the realities of working in the music industry and spoke about the tragic death of Liam Payne.

“He always seemed happy. He always seemed [to be] having a great time. And it was, you know, it was more of a facade. And inside sometimes you don’t know really where their struggles are. It is hard, and there’s a lot of pressure, and I think most of the time, most of us artists are very, very insecure. And me included.”
