amplifyCBR celebrates record 22 ACRA nominations

amplifyCBR, operator of Canberra radio stations Mix 106.3, Hit 104.7, NIGE! and Club Lime Radio, is celebrating an all-time record of 22 nominations in this year’s ACRAs.

The nominations are across 15 categories, including Content, Commercial, Promotion, Engineering, Digital and Station of the Year.

Canberra radio stalwart Nigel Johnson (main photo) secured a nomination for Best Individual Talent along with his own DAB+ station, NIGE!, for Most Innovative DAB+ Format along with sister station Club Lime Radio, where Gemma Maddox is a finalist for Best Music Director.

Kate Rice from Mix 106.3’s Kristen & Nige Breakfast show is up for Best Newsreader.

Adam Jansen and Chris Coleman have been nominated for Best Sports Presenter.

Zak Davies is up for Promotions Director of the Year, Haylee Potts has been nominated for Best Show Producer and Brad Hambleton is in the running for Best Innovation in Engineering.

Tanner Clark, Keeley Gay and Jacob Creech are all nominated for Best Off Air Newcomers.

So often over-looked but they do turn out some championship winning performances and broadcasters.
