Albury Survey #1 Results; Triple M the market leader

Radio stations Hit104.9, Triple M 105.7 and 1494 2AY are the commercial radio stations participating in the latest Albury survey.

SCA-owned Triple M and Hit lead in Albury with Riley Rose & Seamus is the  most listened to breakfast show in the market, the first survey since June 2014.

Triple M’s Lu & Matt breakfast show is #2 in Albury, up 2.1 share points, to 22.9.

The latest Albury radio research was conducted by Xtra Insights from 15 May – 3 June with a sample size of 800 participants.

“Albury is a growing, vibrant area and the local radio stations are an important part of the community. National and local advertisers will be interested today’s survey results,” said Joan Warner, chief executive officer of industry body Commercial Radio Australia.

Commercial radio stations in Albury serve a population of more than 123,012 people 10+.

The radio industry introduced a new system for regional radio ratings in 2014 which allowed smaller radio markets to undertake more regular, reliable and cost-effective audience measurement.

The next regional radio surveys will be in Coffs Harbour and Bundaberg.
