Albo quizzed on ISIS brides on Nova’s Jase, Lauren & Clint
This morning on Nova 100’s Jase, Lauren & Clint, the team chatted to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who arrived in studio as a mystery guest hidden by a cardboard box!
The interview covered a range of issues – from Victoria’s Suburban Rail Loop to concerns around the return of alleged ISIS brides.
Clint: There was a hostile homecoming last night at Melbourne and Sydney Airport for these so-called ISIS brides. There’s been three arrests. Is there any concern over their homecoming, especially one which is now in the community here in Melbourne?
PM: No, because I trust the authorities to do their job, the AFP and our security agencies, including ASIO, and they’ve done it. That’s why three of the four adults have been charged and will face very serious charges. The other person will be monitored. I trust our agencies. They do their job. These people didn’t get any assistance to come back.
Jase, Lauren & Clint can be heard from 6am to 9am on Nova 100 in Melbourne. Listeners can stream the show live or catch up with the daily podcast by downloading the Nova Player.
