Albo chats to Ben, Liam & Belle about being booed at the tennis

This morning on Nova 100’s Ben, Liam & Belle, the team chatted to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese following his frosty reception from fans at the Australian Open Men’s final.

The PM said he’s used to getting booed and jeered at the tennis:

Liam: Do you have thick skin Anthony or does that still sort of get to you? I mean, a crowd of people booing you know?

Albo: Oh no, it’s an Australian tradition!

Liam: You’re saying that like you’ve booed other prime ministers at the footy and that sort of stuff!

Albo: No but I’ve been at a lot of sporting events.

Liam: I saw Turnbull cop like 100,000 once at the MCG and that was that was pretty brutal.

Ben: Albo maybe it’s because obviously the tennis, for me when I think tennis I think a lot of rich people go the tennis, maybe it’s because of those states three tax cuts.
