‘Air Heads’ podcast to help young announcers find their way in radio

Leroy Brown‘s new podcast Air Heads is designed to give aspiring radio announcers a leg up in the game.

Brown has spoken to industry heads in an attempt to give young people a snapshot into the journey it takes to secure your first job in the creative industry of radio.

Air Heads combines first-hand stories about the industry with industry interviews.

“The reason I wanted to put this project together is that when I got into this industry there was no handbook to help with the process,” Brown told Radio Today.

“I figure advice from industry professionals will go a long way to helping young announcers find their way in this game”.

Featuring on Season One includes Triple M Gold Coast’s Al Shield, Bay FM’s Hayden Miller, Triple M Sydney’s Anthony Maroon, 2DayFM’s Jaben Ryan and Triple M Newcastle’s Mike Byrne.
