Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) is joining RØDE as the official Prizing Partner for The Find and Tell podcast competition, a collaboration between ARN’s iHeart and the Indigenous Podcast Network BlakCast.

Hosted by Jamila Rizvi, the series follows the journey to discover the most promising storytellers from diverse backgrounds.

The new AFTRS partnership underscores the competition’s commitment to discovering and nurturing the next generation of diverse storytellers in podcasting.

The prize includes a combination of short courses and one-on-one mentoring, so the winning storyteller can continue to find and tell stories into the future.

The competition winner will take home over $10k in support.

Robbie Miles, AFTRS Head of Industry and Alumni Engagement, says “As the national screen and broadcast school we are proud to support this initiative by offering the winners mentoring and complimentary access to our suite of short courses.”

ARN’s Head of Digital Audio Corey Layton says “We’re incredibly fortunate to see the industry’s commitment to supporting the next generation of diverse talent. The series stands as a testament to the wide breadth of talent in Australia, who need continued support to help shine a spotlight on them.”

Find and Tell is available here, with new episodes dropping weekly on the free iHeart app.
