Hamish & Andy top Australian Podcast Ranker for a record 21st time


The records keep tumbling for Hamish & Andy.

For the 21st time, they’ve taken the crown as the nation’s top podcast in the latest Triton Digital Australian Podcast Ranker – reaching 970,415 listeners in May.

LiSTNR had 18 podcasts in the top 50 of the Top 200.

LiSTNR has also been the #1 sales representation podcast network nationally for 21 of the 23 months since its inception on the ranker in 2022.

ARN’s iHeart again claims the title as Australia’s leading podcast publisher, holding the #1 position for a 49th consecutive ranker.

iHeart dominates the Top 10 with five of the titles including Audioboom’s Casefile, The Kyle & Jackie O Show and The Imperfects.

ARN’s Head of Digital Audio Corey Layton says “As Australia’s #1 podcast publisher, the engagement our slate continues to provide listeners and brands is incredible. As the home to half of Australia’s top 10 podcasts, a huge congratulations to our partners and the entire team that continue to produce content that the nation is seeking out.”

Nine’s podcast network 9Podcasts took the No.5 spot for sales representation nationally, with 1,387,096 monthly listeners and 3,635,692 monthly downloads in May 2024.

The Ben Fordham Live catch up podcast was Nine’s highest ranking podcast at No.29 on the Ranker (up 3 positions in May), attracting more than 194,000 listeners and 388,000 downloads.
