AFTRS Graduate Megan Hui joins KIIS 106.5

AFTRS Graduate, Megan Hui, has joined ARN as a Promotions Campaign Specialist for Sydney’s KIIS 1065.  

“I have to keep pinching myself! Being a part of the KIIS 1065 family is a dream come true,” Megan said. 

Megan had spent the last six years at C91.3FM in Promotions, with a three-month stint as the Breakfast Producer for The Macarthur Breakfast Show with Ally Redondo.

In her final months of her Graduate Diploma in Radio at AFTRS, Megan had the opportunity for a work placement at STAR 102.7 under the wing of Allan Sheppard. Megan decided she wanted to be a part of ARN thanks to the experience.

Since starting in early January, Megan has worked on promotions for the Kyle & Jackie O Show, including ‘You Get A… $10,000’ and The KIIS $100,000 Noise, where Megan led the project in getting a ‘clue’ for the Noise projected across Sydney.  

“I feel so grateful to have been given the chance to work alongside the radio and podcast industry’s best of the absolute best in the country… and radio royalty like Kyle and Jackie O,” Megan said.

“I remember listening to them as a kid from the Hot 30 Countdown Days to now. They’re such beautiful people and mega-talented. They are one of the big reasons I got into radio in the first place.”
