Ad Revenue results for July

Commercial Radio advertising revenue for July for the five metro markets was down 1.16% to a total of $ 52.349m, compared to this time last year, according to Deloitte figures released today.

  • Sydney grew for the third month, up 0.79% to $ 16.779m
  • Melbourne fell 2.54% to $ 15.669m
  • Brisbane fell 1.82% to $ 8.239m
  • Adelaide fell 6.64% to $ 4.701m
  • Perth grew 2.18% to $ 6.960m

The Deloitte figures report actual agency and direct revenue for all metropolitan commercial radio stations for the calendar month.

CEO of Commercial Radio Australia, Joan Warner commented…

“Sydney and Perth recording positive growth for the month is a good start to the new financial year and the third consecutive month of growth for Sydney. Other markets are still experiencing tough economic conditions.”
